Like most people through out my life I had had to adapt to new circumstances. The most recent being the Covid-19 lockdown and the each day of the lock down I remind myself that “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass. It’s about learning how to dance in the rain.”
Sometimes this is easy and at other times this can be more challenging. It can sound very glib to say focus on the positive, but I have found that cultivating a positive mental attitude has been one of the foundations for dealing with the ups and downs in my life.
For me the cournerstone of a positive mental attitude is gratitude as it instantly shifts my mindset into the positive By simply lisiting things that I am grateful for, however small it boosts my sense of wellbeing.</p>
When the lockdown first hit and I was unable to continue with my massage therapy practice, I remember feeling very grateful that it was nice weather during my daily walk in nature.
So what do you have to be grateful for today?
