When I need to feel grounded...

This is one of the exercises I use to ground myself.

Imagine a beam of light coming from above your head, going all the way down your spine, at your pelvis it splits into four. One part goes down your right leg, out through the sole of your foot, down through the earth right to the earth’s core. The next part goes down your left leg, out through the sole of your foot, down through the earth to its core. The third part comes out of your pelvis in front of you, down through the earth to its core. The fourth and final part comes out of your pelvis behind you and goes down through the earth to its core. So you have “four tent pegs” tethering you to the ground.
